I’m the middle child of three. Born in Michigan and raised in Florida, I moved to Dickson in January 2000 with my parents and siblings.
Ever since my teenage years I’ve had a desire to teach and mold children into teenagers with a heart on fire for God. I started early volunteering as an assistant teacher for a two (2) year old Sunday School class and have been involved with the children’s ministry ever since. I felt God leading me in the ministry as a counselor at children’s camp at age sixteen (16). When I returned home I began mentoring under the children’s pastor at my home church. After three (3) years of mentoring, and a year of internship under children’s ministry I became the children’s pastor for Dickson First Assembly. I pastored DFA’s children for two (2) years before being led to The Meeting Place.
I’m also currently participating in the program TSOM (Tennessee School of Ministry) to become certified through the A/G with plans to continue with my education.
My passion is to see kids come to know the love of Jesus not only with their head, but in their heart. My desire is to help kids build a strong foundation in Christ that will enable them to stand for the rest of their lives in the Lord no matter what may come their way. I want to see children become true, lifelong disciples of Christ with a passion to change the world around them for Jesus.
As the youngest staff member at The Meeting Place, I’m looking forward to what lies ahead and lengthening my biography. =)
